Productivity Pilot: setup guide for mediators
The Productivity Pilot is a personal dashboard for mediators who hold more than one role: a mediation practice, a law or social work practice, another business, a professional body and a household. It runs inside your own Claude account, keeps your tasks, projects and areas in one place, and flags tasks that touch two of your roles.
Mediation Academy offers it as a free public resource. You build your own copy; nothing is shared with Mediation Academy.
What you need
A free Claude account (claude.ai). Some features, such as connecting your own Gmail and Google Calendar, may need a paid plan.
A computer and a modern browser.
About 30 minutes.
Set it up
Create a Claude account at claude.ai and sign in.
Download the Productivity Pilot build file (a plain-text .md file) from this page. The file is being finalised and will be added here shortly; check back on this page.
In Claude, create a new Project called “Productivity Pilot”.
Upload the build file to the Project.
Start a new chat in the Project and paste the starter prompt below.
Claude builds the dashboard in stages. After each stage, check what it shows you, then ask for the next stage.
Starter prompt
Read the Productivity Pilot build file in this Project. Build stage 1 only, as a published artifact in my account. When it works, tell me what to check, then wait for me before starting the next stage.
Confidentiality and your data
Do not put client-identifiable information into task titles or notes. Use case codes instead.
You remain responsible for complying with POPIA and with your professional body’s rules on confidentiality.
Check your Claude plan’s privacy and data settings before you start.
Terms
The Productivity Pilot build file and this guide are provided free of charge and as is, without warranty or support obligations. Mediation Academy is not responsible for any data you enter or for decisions made using the dashboard. Nothing on this page is legal advice.
